A Line and Friends Netflix Debut…

Big-hearted and expressionless BROWN is always there for friends. They all love to hang out in the cozy coffee shop BROWN works in. This nonverbal slapstick kids’ comedy features ‘LINE FRIENDS,’ globally beloved original characters from IPX.

For this project I was the FX and compositing supervisor. I had a great time designing over 150 of the FX needed for the show. The challenge was balancing the After Effects team and CG FX department, and figuring out how best to tackle each of the unique shot needs.

I also supplied After Effects comp layers to the nuke team for over 200+ shots, from 2D fx, wipes, overlays and faux-3D FX, I really embraced the challenge and I’m proud of the series we put out.

The comp supervision role was mainly scrutinizing each frame for any number of errors, a painstaking, but necessary process.
